43 Weeks Old

This week got away from me and before I knew it Carmella's week birthday almost passed me by so I decided to do what any sane mom would do..... take a picture of her when she was sleeping. Hasn't anyone ever told you to NEVER wake a sleeping baby well good thing she is a deep sleeper.

She has mastered her sippy cup and has decided that when she is done she throws it on the floor, again and again. That's lots of fun for mommy.

She is still a great sleeper, 10-12 hours a night.

A special Congratulations to Auntie Jenn, Uncle Mike and cousin Sophia on the new addition to their family, Tyler Vincent arrived on Friday, July 27th!!

42 Weeks Old

Carmella has definitely mastered the sitting up and she is working hard on the crawling, but for now it's the wounded soldier crawl. But soon we'll have a mobile baby in the house now we have to start considering a baby gate. She is enjoying some finger foods and snacks that mommy has given her and has really mastered the pincher grip.

She is such a happy baby!

Visit with the Martin Family

The Martin Family came to visit all the way from Texas!

I have known Vanessa since the first grade and they moved to Texas about a year ago so we haven't had a chance to see each other in awhile. It was great to catch up and spend some time together.  Her son Avery is getting so big now and he was such a sweet boy with Carmella.

Our quick visit just wasn't enough time so Vanessa and her mommy came back and stayed the night with us. It was so wonderful and brought so much joy to my heart, oh how I love and miss her so much.

And the kids had fun too, nothing like a little bath time fun!!

Thanks for the visit we can't wait to do it again,

maybe next time we'll come out to Texas to see ya'll!

41 Weeks Old

Carmella is quite the little talker and she is always having conversations with herself and/ or her toys. Chris and I have found this to be so cute and entertaining since we know she is saying something very important but we just don't understand it!  She can understand simple words and phrases now and even knows when she is doing something she shouldn't be doing cause she will look over her shoulder to see if we are watching her. Sneaky girl!!

And this week she is officially doing the "wounded solider" crawl and drinking from a sippy cup,
what a big girl!

And she loves her tickle time with daddy!

40 Weeks Old

She has officially been in this world as long as she was in my tummy! Oh my!!

Carmella's personality is emerging and she is very social and always giving out smiles. 

But don't be fooled she had a mind of her own and she will let it be known.
