25 Weeks Old

25 Weeks Old!

 This week Carmella figured out how to blow raspberries and has been entertaining herself, too bad her shirts are getting soaked. She hasn't quite mastered the roll over but she is getting so close (her arm keeps getting stuck). But before you know we will have a mobile baby. As for sitting up well that is coming along slowly, but she is getting stronger.

As you can see her little personality is starting to come out.

And she has decided the paper is much more fun than taking the picture

And sometimes she falls over during out photo shoot.
Man, I just love that little girl!

Celebrating Mommy's Birthday

It's my Mommy's BIRTHDAY!!

For my mommy's birthday this year we got the keys to our new house! It was a day we were going to remember forever. But first we headed out to Aqui in Willow Glen where we could meet up with some friends for a birthday celebration and of course an afternoon swirl. Yummy!!

Then we headed over to our NEW house!

It was so nice to finally turn the key and walk in our new house. 

And mommy found a beautiful surprise in the kitchen,
a dozen orange roses and my birthday present.

WOW what a great day!!

After we put Carmella to bed it was off to dinner for us. We headed to a little pizzeria in Campbell and enjoyed a tasty dinner. Afterwards we stopped by yogartland for dessert.

A double celebration, a new house and a birthday. This is a day we'll never forget!!

24 Weeks Old

24 Weeks Old



 Carmella is beginning to recognize names and some of her toys. When I show her a video of herself she gets a huge smile on her face and starts kicking her feet. I am not sure if she recognizes herself or if she thinks it's another baby but it's become a great distraction. Carmella is really starting to try and talk, she can often be heard squealing and babbling. We often have our own little conversations where she squeals and I squeal back at her, she loves it!!

And she still loves her fingers and can always be found with her fingers or a toy in her mouth. I think someone might be getting a tooth soon!

Eating Rice Cereal

Since Carmella has shown a growing interest in what mommy and daddy are eating. And even at times reaching for our fork or glass, we decided we would try some rice cereal.

So we got suited up; plastic bib, bumbo chair with tray.

While preparing the rice cereal Carmella turned into Super Baby!!

She has discovered her spoon for the first time

23 Weeks Old

23 Weeks Old

Carmella has really taken to standing on our lap at times she won't want to sit down. She is definitely becoming very opinionated and will let you know when she likes or dislikes something. Sometimes when I give her a toy to play with and she doesn't want it she will push it away.

Oh and did I mention that everything that Carmella gets her hands on ends up in her mouth.
It's only just beginning!!

Playdate with Kenna

Carmella and I headed over to Santa Cruz for a fun play date and some gorgeous weather. The girls are at such a fun age and they spent most of the time in their own baby conversation. Kenna got it started and then Carmella just kept talking, so much so that Kenna couldn't take her nap.

Well at least we know the girls will get along.

22 Weeks Old

22 Weeks Already!!

Carmella has definitely discovered kicking her legs and many times I have watched her on the video monitor kicking to make the pack in play rock. She can't wait to be in her crib. She has even been see turning onto her side to reach for toys or other objects but she hasn't quite mastered the rolling over yet (which is fine with mommy). Another new things she likes to do is drop her toys on the ground and comparing the different sounds they make when they land. I think she just likes me to keep picking them up. 

 She is still quite the talker and love interacting with other kids, well screaming and babbling anyways. She is such a joy to be around and her smile just makes me melt. One of her new favorite things to do is watch videos of herself on Mommy's phone. She gets a big smile on her face and starts talking to the baby but doesn't quite understand that it is actually her.

5 Months Old

Happy 5 month birthday baby bella!!

She is getting big and her personality is shining through!
To celebrate her 5 month birthday we went to church in the morning and had a fun family afternoon.

My New Stroller Power Outfit

Carmella and I have been loving our stroller workouts in the morning and I have to admit it has been a little chilly. So it was perfect time to pull out her new pink fleece outfit. A big thank you to grandpa C and grandma Julie for this great outfit. Now when mommy runs around the park, Carmella stay nice and snuggly warm.

You can tell she is not too excited at first but don't worry she will thank me for it when we get outside.
